A look behind the scenes of the Ring

Take a look behind the scenes of the Nürburgring as part of a backstage tour. The areas presented here are not normally accessible to visitors and can only be experienced as part of this extraordinary tour.

Expert guides tell interesting facts and entertaining anecdotes from over 90 years of eventful history. You will get to know the Grand Prix paddock, the HAZET pits, the media center and the VIP terrace. From the roof of the pit building, you can enjoy an exclusive view of the Grand Prix circuit.

Drum Conversation

An interactive drumming event as a supporting program, team workshop or show act. The drum is the oldest communication instrument in the world. For thousands of years, countless cultures have appreciated the special significance of this instrument. At important events and celebrations, it serves to connect people, create team spirit and develop a (new) common rhythm.

Driving safety center at the Nürburgring

Get your field staff fit for the road or surprise your employees or customers with a special kind of event. You can choose between courses lasting several hours, a whole day or two days.

Geocashing

With the help of GPS devices, if desired combined with push-to-talk cell phones, a road book with instructions, prepared hiding places or mailboxes with hints and tasks along the way, etc., each team has to find a specific target. The goal can either be a "treasure", i.e. a reward for the best/fastest team, or it can simply be the place where the evening event takes place.

Green Kicker Challenge

The ball is round and it takes 30 minutes to set up. True to this motto, this unique cardboard foosball table in its original dimensions is assembled team by team in the first half of this extraordinary soccer event. The individual parts, including the cardboard case with carrying handles, are put together completely, easily and without any additional tools. The team that is ready to play the fastest automatically tops the company World Cup table.

Karting on the ring°kart track

Your customized racing event starts here on the 400 m long ring°kart track. With the RIMO SiNUS electric kart fleet, your guests will experience the thrill of karting safely and without exhaust fumes. From the organization of a karting Grand Prix to the catering and the winners' trophies including champagne - everything is taken care of. It is also possible for a motorsport professional to accompany your event and provide advice and helpful tips.

Soapbox competition

Soapboxes - this is what you imagine when you think of speedy downhill runs, sitting on hard boards and without any suspension. Definitely a lot of fun! You now get this as a complete package, from construction to the final race. A lot of manual and communication skills are required as a team. But creativity in "design" can also be lived out without limits.

Alpaca hike

Enjoy the fragrant forests together with your companion and take a break from stressful everyday life or sort out your thoughts after an information-packed conference. During the tour you will learn some interesting facts about the curious Andean camels and can try to gain their trust.

Fondue experience

Experience an unforgettable dinner in a unique atmosphere in the world-famous and legendary "Cockpit Bar", surrounded by special testimonies to the history of motorsport. In the heart of the Dorint Am Nürburgring Hocheifel we offer you a dinner of a special kind.

Barbecue summer

What could be nicer than a delicious barbecue outside on a warm summer night with a cool glass of wine or beer? And in a very special atmosphere - right next to the most legendary race track in the world? We will be happy to reserve seats for your barbecue evening on our Dorint Wies'n directly at the hotel or on our restaurant terrace, in the immediate vicinity of the start and finish straight of the Nürburgring. Should the weather be "unsuitable", we will of course have a "suitable" indoor location ready for you and your participants. Rustic seating and decoration, as well as our barbecue fire, ensure a cozy atmosphere. Enjoy the delicacies prepared by our kitchen team and find out what you can conjure up with barbecue tongs & co. From fish to burgers, homemade dips, crunchy summer vegetables and meat from the region - there's something for every taste!

Dorint race menu

Hospitality at the highest level at the most famous race track in the world. With the race menu, your event at the Nürburgring will be an unforgettable evening! Put your guests in pole position and enjoy an evening in a motorsport atmosphere.

Your room will be decorated with oil drums, pylons, tires and racing flags. The tables will also be decorated with small items from the world of motorsport and vehicle construction.

"Normal" evening events are a thing of the past - experience the Motorsports Dinner at ring°werk. Immerse yourself in the exciting history of the Nürburgring and experience the thrilling history of the most demanding and legendary race track in the world. After a conference or company outing, the Motorsports Dinner is the perfect way to round off an evening in a relaxed atmosphere.

Alternative program: The Dinner for Champions After the meal, it's down to business: Which team will change the tires on the formula car the fastest? Who will win the Carrera Grand Prix? Whose XXL truck will be the first to cross the finish line? Team spirit is required!

Exclusive rental of the ring°werk (without attractions) is also possible for a group of up to 400 people.

Immerse yourself in the legend of the Nürburgring and use the uniqueness of the destination for your event. Just right - for you too! The Nordschleife, respectfully known as the "Green Hell", is still considered the most difficult race track in the world. Together with the Grand Prix circuit, which has also hosted Formula One, it has made a decisive contribution to the Nürburgring legend.

However, the Nürburgring is far more than "just" a race track and has developed into a real experience center.

Bitburger Event Center

With the Bitburger Event Center, a new event hall has been created at the Nürburgring especially for trade fairs, congresses and vehicle presentations.

Historic paddock

The historic paddock at the Nürburgring was opened in 1927 together with the race track. It is the oldest surviving pit area in the world. It has now been restored to its original state. Pits were dismantled, enamel lamps were made according to old documents and hung in the restored pits again, the pit walls were painted with the old paint mixtures and metal signs were attached to mark the pits. Everything modern has been banished or placed so that it is not visible.
