An adventure playground at an airy altitude
Here you can climb, swing and balance between sky and earth. At an altitude of one to eleven meters, you will overcome courses with different elements, in difficulty levels ranging from easy to difficult. You don't need to be particularly well-trained, courageous or trained. Fun in the movement is in the foreground. A lot of fun for beginners, children, adventurous and daring.

Up with the lift and down
The Bikepark Winterberg is the largest and most versatile bike park in Germany. Here there is everything to mountain biking, improve riding technique or just have fun. You can go up with your bike with the lift, down to nine kilometres of professionally designed downhill runs. This is where the European mountain bike scene meets. But even less experienced riders made it to the Winterberg Bike Park. Learn the driving technique in the course with experienced guides. Bikes and protectors can be borrowed at the bike station.

In the footsteps of the Kufenstars
The Winterberg Hochsauerland bobsled track is one of the most modern and fastest in the world. The world's best bobsleighers, tobogganers and skeletonists compete here winter after winter exciting races. The ice channel is the home run of former European champion René Spies and world champion Sandra Kiriasis. Thousands of spectators experience the Kufenstars live and up close here year after year.

Kartfun / Eventcenter Neuastenberg

The event center, directly connected to the hotel, offers its guests everything: indoor go-kart track, indoor soccer, tennis, badminton, volleyball and climbing wall. 

Have you ever dreamed of racing over the asphalt like a Vettel? The combination of sharp curves and long straights offers you pure thrills and unlimited driving fun in the 5000 m² heated and air-conditioned hall on the 550 m long route! Drive up to 20 laps in 10 minutes and become the protagonist of your very personal Formula 1 race! Under this motto we would like to take you some time into the world of karting. Here you have the unique opportunity to prove your skills. Experience a kart race incl. Warm-up and qualifying like the pros, followed by a prize-giving ceremony.

Indoor soccer is on trend: 365 days a year kick regardless of the weather – fast, dynamic and goal-rich! A lot of action and fun awaits you on our artificial turf in FIFA quality. Layed on a 10 mm thick, elastic subfloor, the modern artificial turf granulate system is particularly gentle on joints, Achilles tendons and back. Even world and European champions appreciate this surface as a playing and training ground. Our multifunctional soccer court with the official pitch size of 30 x 15 meters is played "5 against 5", children and amateur teams also "6 against 6". As a rule, it is played with sneakers or multinocks. Stoll shoes are not allowed.

Ski resort Postwiese Neuastenberg

Our Dorint Hotel & Sportresort Winterberg is located in the middle of the Postwiesen ski village Neuastenberg. 16 slopes open up a ski area of extraordinary diversity on the southern side of the Kahlen Astens. The spectrum ranges from black pistes, learning pistes to the wonderful 1,000 m long eastern slope, one of the most beautiful runs of the entire winter sports arena Sauerland. Despite its great tradition, the area is still the secret tip with a "many rides guarantee", which includes short waiting times at the lifts and plenty of space for skiing. Further highlights are the professional fun park for snowboarders and free skiers, the natural toboggan run with steep curves and the extended range of escape lights from now 4.5 km of slopes - reachable in a few minutes from the car park and our hotel.

Tobogganing

Bends, bridges, jumps - it's all there. It is 700 meters down the mountain in rapid speed. From the terrace or the bridge, just watching is fun! Everyone determines their own speed. It's very simple. Levers forward: throttle, levers back: brake! A lift pulls small and large visitors back up the mountain in a sledge. The excitement is mounting – and we’re off to a new ride!

Guided mountain bike tour

We are happy to organize a guided mountain bike tour lasting 2 - 3 hours including 1 bottle of apple juice, helmet and bike as well as professionally trained guides for you. It goes through the varied terrain of the beautiful Hochsauerland. 1700 km of designated routes for beginners, families and advanced riders. The tour is individually tailored to the participants.

Minimum number of participants: 3 persons

Helmets are mandatory.

Guided E-Bike Tour

The E-Bike Tour is put together individually by the E-Bike Coaches according to the wishes and requirements of the participants. An easy tour with about 20 - 25 km and a duration of 2.5 - 3 hours costs 50,00 € per person incl. Guide and e-bike rental fee. Bookable from 3 persons.

Helmets are mandatory.

Adventure Tour /GPS Expedition

Team up on a modern treasure hunt through Winterberg and its villages! With map and compass or GPS you go on a discovery tour. Not only do hidden clues have to be put together like a jigsaw puzzle, but also team tasks have to be mastered along the way. Duration of this event approx. 2.5 hours. Groups of 5-6 people.

Enjoy the romance of the Sauerland

On a guided hike, on request also with a Rothaarsteigranger, flat wagon or in winter sleigh ride, we will take you into the forests of the Sauerland. Here you have to expect costs of approx. € 7.00 per person for the hike and approx. € 12.50 for the flat wagon and sleigh ride. The hike leads to the mountain Kahler Asten and back again with a duration of about 2 hours. The carriage or sleigh ride starts in Winterberg at the horse farm. You have to reckon with a duration of approx. 1.5 hours. A sleigh ride takes about 30 minutes. It goes through the Winterberg countryside and partly through the old town of Winterberg.

Taxibob - have you driven Bob before?!

Guest bobsledding in Winterberg - an experience of a very special kind!

Treat yourself to an extraordinary kick: Hunt at speeds of up to 130 km/h through the ice channel in Winterberg in the Hochsauerland. An experienced bobsleigh pilot and three guests each form a team that will take you through one of the fastest and most modern ice rinks in the world. Enjoy the ride with the "Formula One of Winter Sports" through the 1600 m long bob tube and experience the approximately 60 seconds long thrill in an original four-bob!

Bobsled tours

Visit the bobsleigh track in Winterberg, the venue of the World Cup 2015. Guided tours alone or combined with various other program points such as chairlift and / or Panorama Adventure Bridge are available from 10 persons, from 2 hours, for 9,00 € gross per person!

Guest biathlon

"Shooter King"

• Theoretical instruction in the handling of the small-calibre rifle
• 10 shot rehearsal to get to know the shooting technique

Biathlon workshop

• Biathlon course under the expert supervision of DSV-licensed trainer

In Grandfather's footsteps

...strolling through the romantic, snowy winter landscape. With snowshoes that look like tennis rackets that are slightly oversized. What used to be flaked from hazelnut or willow wood or covered with leather straps is now made from aluminium and lightweight materials. On this hike through the beautiful nature, young and old can enjoy the quiet winter landscape to the fullest. The tour lasts about 3 hours and is accompanied by a guide, bookable for 5 - 20 people.

These courses are tax-subsidised for companies in the context of occupational health management. In addition, participants may apply for pro rata reimbursements from health insurance funds for certified courses.

For one-off sports courses over 60 minutes, the personal trainer charges 50,00 €. The price is independent of the number of participants, travel costs would not be incurred due to the geographical proximity. These courses can be held indoors and outdoors in our Dorint Hotel & Sportresort Winterberg. There may be additional costs associated with the rental of a room or the sports hall.
