A look behind the scenes of the ring

Take a look behind the scenes of the Nürburgring as part of a backstage tour. The areas presented here are usually not accessible to visitors and can only be experienced as part of this exceptional guided tour.

Expert guides tell interesting facts and entertaining anecdotes from over 90 years of turbulent history. You will get to know the Grand Prix paddock, the HAZET boxes, the Media Center and the VIP terrace. From the roof of the pit building you can enjoy an exclusive view over the Grand Prix track.

Drum Conversation

An interactive drum event as a supporting program, team workshop or show act. The drum is the oldest communication instrument in the world. For millennia, countless cultures have appreciated the special importance of this instrument. At important events and celebrations it serves to connect people, create team spirit and develop a (new) common rhythm.

Driving safety centre at the Nürburgring

Make your field staff fit for the streets or surprise your employees or customers with a special kind of event.You can choose between multi-hour, full-day or two-day courses.

Geocashing

With the help of GPS devices, if desired combined with push-to-talk mobile phones, a roadbook with instructions, prepared hiding places or letterboxes with hints and tasks on the road, etc., each team has to find a specific destination. The destination can be either a "treasure", i.e. a reward for the best/fastest team, or it can simply be the place where the evening event takes place.

Green Kicker Challenge

The ball is round and the build-up takes 30 minutes. Freely according to this motto, this unique cardboard football table is assembled in original dimensions by team in the first half of this extraordinary football event. The individual parts, including the cardboard case with carrying handles, can be put together completely, easily and without additional tools. The team that is quickest to play will automatically be placed at the top of the World Cup standings.

Karting on the ring kartbahn

This is where your tailor-made racing event starts on the 400 m long ring°kart course. With the RIMO SiNUS electric kart fleet, your guests can experience the experience of karting safely and without exhaust fumes up close. From the organisation of a kart grand prize to the catering and the winner's trophies including sparkling wine – everything is taken care of. In addition, it is possible for a motorsport professional to accompany your event and provide advice and helpful tips.

Soap boxes competition

Soap boxes - underneath you can imagine rapid downhill descents, sitting on hard boards and without any suspension. Definitely a lot of fun ! You will now receive this in the complete package, from construction to the final race. A lot of craftsmanship and communication skills are required in the team. But also the creativity in "design" can be exercised without limits

Alpaca migration

Enjoy the fragrant forests together with your companion and take a break from the stress of everyday life or sort your thoughts after an informative meeting. During the tour you will learn some interesting information about the curious Andean camels and can thus try to gain their confidence.

Fondue Experience

Enjoy an unforgettable dinner in the world famous and legendary "Cockpit Bar", surrounded by special testimonies of the history of motorsport, in a unique atmosphere. In the heart of the Dorint At the Nürburgring Hocheifel we offer you a special dinner.

We are happy to reserve seats for your barbecue evening at our Dorint Wies‘n directly at the hotel or on our restaurant terrace, in the immediate vicinity of the start and finish straight of the Nürburgring.
Should the weather be “unsuitable”, we will of course have a “suitable” indoor location available for you and your participants.
Rustic seating and decoration, as well as our barbecue fire ensure a cozy atmosphere.
Enjoy the delicacies of our kitchen team and find out what you can conjure up with grill tongs & Co. From fish to burgers, homemade dips, crisp summer vegetables and meat from the region – there is something for everyone!

Dorint Race Menu

Your room is decorated with oil drums, pylons, tires and racing flags. The motorsport myth is also taken up on the tables and decorated with small materials from racing and vehicle construction.

"Normal" Evening events were yesterday      experience the Motorsports Dinner at ring°werk. Immerse yourself in the exciting history of the Nürburgring and experience the exciting history of the most demanding and legendary race track in the world. After the meeting or the company outing, the Motorsports Dinner is the perfect way to end an evening in a relaxed atmosphere.

After lunch, let's get down to business: Which team changes the tyres fastest in Formula racing? Who wins the Carrera Grand-Prix? Whose XXL truck crosses the finish line first? Team spirit is in demand! 

An exclusive rental of the ring°werk (without attractions) is also possible for a group of up to 400 people.

Immerse yourself in the myth of the Nürburgring and take advantage of the uniqueness of the destination for your event. Exactly right - also for you! The Nordschleife, respectfully called "Green Hell", is still considered the most difficult race track in the world. Together with the Grand Prix circuit, on which Formula One was also a guest, it made a decisive contribution to the myth of the Nürburgring.

However, the Nürburgring is much more than "just" a racetrack and has developed into a real experience centre.

Whether as a merchandising area for events, as a trade fair area for exhibitions and vehicle presentations or as a unique location for your evening event with up to 1,100 people at round banquet tables. The ring boulevard forms the central axis of the Nürburgring with over 8,800 m² parallel to the start and finish straight of the Grand Prix track.

Experience your very personal event in the new ring°arena right on the racetrack! Integrated into the ring boulevard is the exclusive platform for public and corporate events of all kinds.  

Hazet boxes

Present your company in the legendary motorsport environment! Where teams usually prepare their cars for the race, take advantage of the fascination of the Nürburgring as an exclusive business platform.  

Bitburger Event-Center

With the Bitburger Event-Center, a new event hall was created at the Nürburgring especially for trade fairs, congresses and vehicle presentations. 

Historic paddock

The historic paddock at the Nürburgring was opened in 1927 together with the racetrack. It is the oldest surviving pit quarter in the world. It has now been restored to its original state. Boxes were dismantled again, enamel lamps were made according to old documents and hung up again in the restored boxes, the walls of the boxes were painted with the old paint mixtures and metal signs were affixed to mark the boxes. Everything modern has been banished or placed in such a way that it is invisible.
