King's winter with dragon rock

In airy mountain heights you go on an excursion to Drachenfels. The way to the top can be covered either on foot or comfortably with the Drachenfelsbahn. It is worth a detour to the Nibelungenhalle with dragon cave and reptile zoo, a view over the Rhineland from the winegrower's cottage or an exploration in and around Drachenburg Castle.

Augustusburg Palace

Augustusburg Castle in Brühl is considered a masterpiece of rococo architecture. A look into the interiors reveals all the splendour of the residence completed in 1768. In the baroque garden with fountains, flower beds and ornamental beds you can stroll wonderfully. Another highlight of this excursion is the hunting lodge Falkenlust on the edge of a secluded forest, which is only a short walk away from Schloss Augustusburg.

Satzvey Castle

The picturesque moated castle from the 14th and 15th centuries. It is located on the northern edge of the Eifel and is considered to be the best preserved water castle in the Rhineland in its original form.

The main building was built in the 14th century on the site of a fortified courtyard from the 12th century. In 15. and In the 16th century, the fortification was gradually strengthened by a gatehouse, walls and towers. After that, the castle remained largely unchanged for three centuries. It was not until the end of the 19th century that the main building was extended with extensions and stems, a manor house and marshes were created.

Concept Golf Gut Clarenhof

Public golf training facility with 6-hole par 3-course with the motto: "Golf for everyone." Here you can play golf in a sporty and relaxed atmosphere. You do not need to be a member of a club, nor do you need your own equipment. A mix between beginners and good golfers, families and young people makes the unique family and relaxed atmosphere. The 20 illuminated and covered tee pitches as well as the floodlight system on the Driging Range and the golf course make it possible to practice "your" sport all year round. If the weather is good, you can kick off from 30 free tee spots, practice the bunker game or put on the large practice green.
