A car factory in the middle of the city

The Phaeton has been manufactured in Volkswagen's Transparent Factory since 2001. The manufactory was not built in an industrial area just outside Dresden, but right in the heart of the Elbe metropolis, just a 10 minutes walk from the Old Town, directly on the Großer Garten. Albrechtsberg Castle

An old Scottish palace from the 18th century situated on the beautiful Elbe slopes to Dresden. 

Kurländer Palais

Kurländer Palais - Royal Residence of Dresden with its ballroom and small hall is located only 500 m from the Dorint Hotel Dresden. On an area of 400 m² you can hold events of any kind, up to a maximum of 375 people. The spectacular view of the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) and the Academy of Arts will make you hold your breath and go into raptures.

German Hygiene Museum

Founded in 1912, the German Hygiene Museum is a museum in Dresden. Today it sees itself as a public forum for science, culture and society. As a popular exhibition and event venue, the house is one of the best-visited museums in Dresden, with around 280,000 visitors annually. Wackerbarth Castle

Winery Prinz zur Lippe

The Proschwitz Castle winery is both the oldest and the largest private winery in Saxony. Dr. Georg Prinz zur Lippe bought back his family's winery step by step after 1990. Winery Hoflößnitz

Once an electoral winery and rural retreat of the Wettin dynasty, today's Hoflößnitz Foundation is still an idyllic gem in the center of Saxony's wine-growing landscape. A little away from the baroque palaces and the large streams of tourists, our estate captivates with romantic charm, simple elegance and the quiet serenity of the unique landscape. 

Dresden Zoo

Dresden Zoo was opened on May 9, 1861, making it the fourth oldest zoo in Germany after Berlin, Frankfurt/Main and Cologne. It is located in the southwestern part of the Great Garden and houses over 2000 animals in 300 different species. The area of the zoo is about 13 hectares.

Conference and lecture room with 120 seats and projection technology on request approx. 140 seats in the zoo restaurant "Ristofante" and/or 80 seats in the "Africafé" between the elephant enclosure and the mandrills. Celebrate outside? No problem - the Linden Oasis offers space and catering for approx. 750 guests.

Saxon steamship

Segway through Dresden

The unique movement strolls through Dresden. The rental station is located only about 300 m from the hotel. Whether the more classical variant in which you explore the treasures of the baroque old town, the trip through the "green lung" of the city with its many small and large highlights or the trip through the new town, which offers a nice contrast between dignified baroque and lively trendy district. The decision is entirely up to you, of course a combination of the tours as well as a largely individual tour design (with sufficient advance notice) is also possible.
