EARLY BIRD

  • Gentle stretches and light strengthening exercises alternate in this flowing Spirit Yoga morning practice, mobilising the body and bringing it alive to start the day.


BASICS

  • The Spirit Yoga Basics series consists of 8 yoga sessions and is the ideal beginner's programme. But also for advanced practitioners of any level, the Basics series is always a perfect way to deepen and refine your own yoga practice.


LEVEL 1

  • Practising yoga while getting to know the enlightened, structured, hands-on and approachable style of Spirit Yoga, as well as discovering interesting details in the execution of the asanas (postures) that have remained unclear until now - this is what Level 1 offers.


LEVEL 1 - 2

  • A dynamic Spirit Yoga class. A good mix of exertion and breaks give the opportunity to challenge the body and mind and recharge at the same time.


LEVEL 2

  • The routines of Spirit Yoga classes are familiar and a degree of flexibility and strength has been built up. New challenging asanas are discovered in a playful way.


BACK

  • This yoga class promotes flexibility of the spine, strengthens the back and abdominal muscles, and circulates and stretches tight muscles. The exercises bring the entire body into symmetry and balance. The calm atmosphere helps to reduce stress.


RESTORE & RELAX

  • Simply relaxing and recharging is one of the most effective ways to relieve stress. In this yoga format, the central nervous system is calmed, helping to optimally regenerate body and mind. Conscious breathing exercises (pranayama), mindfulness exercises and meditation ensure that the mind can also find peace.


TIPS AND EQUIPMENT

  • It is best to practise barefoot on a non-slip surface and not on a full stomach. The following aids are useful: 1 blanket, 1 to 2 yoga blocks or alternatively thick books, 1 yoga belt or similar and 1 yoga bolster or couch cushion. A feel-good atmosphere supports the yoga practice.
